Getting Started with Premium​

Subscribing to Premium​

  1. Navigate to your account settings
  2. Select the Premium subscription option
  3. Choose your preferred billing cycle (monthly or annual)
  4. Complete the payment process

Once your subscription is active, all premium features will be immediately available.

Managing Your Subscription​

You can manage your premium subscription at any time from your account settings:

  • Upgrade or downgrade your plan
  • Update payment information
  • View billing history
  • Cancel your subscription (with access until the end of your billing period)

Premium Feature Access​

All premium features are seamlessly integrated into the SkyJourney interface. When viewing a flight:

  • Look for the weather icon to view historical weather data
  • Open Altitude and speed under the flight map for the recorded profile
  • Check the delay information section for detailed delay analysis
  • Use the attachment button to upload and manage files
  • Explore similar flights from the flight detail page
  • Configure TripIt integration in your settings
  • Export your data anytime from the settings menu

Organize Your Travel Documentation​

Use file attachments to create a complete archive of your travel history. Upload boarding passes, receipts, and photos for each trip.

See What the Flight Actually Did​

Open the altitude and speed profile on a long-haul and drag across it: the marker follows the same moment on the map, so the step climbs and the oceanic stretches line up with where they happened.

Track Weather Patterns​

Review weather data to identify the best times to fly certain routes or understand why particular flights were delayed.

Discover Travel Insights​

Use similar flights to find patterns in your travel history and make better booking decisions for future trips.

Keep Everything Synchronized​

Enable TripIt integration to automatically import eligible TripIt flight events into SkyJourney.

Backup Your Data​

Regularly export your flight data to maintain your own backup and use the data in other applications or analytics tools.

Privacy and Security​

Your premium data is protected with the same high security standards as the rest of SkyJourney:

  • All uploaded files are encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Weather and delay data is fetched securely from trusted sources
  • Third-party integrations use secure provider-specific mechanisms (for TripIt this is currently private iCal feed import)
  • Exported data is generated securely and never cached
