Account Settings
Manage your personal information and account preferences.
Accessing Account Settings
- Click your profile icon (top-right)
- Select Settings
- Go to Account tab
Profile Information
Update Email Address
- Enter your new email in the Email field
- Click Save Changes
- Verify your new email (check inbox for confirmation link)
- Click the link to complete the change
Note: Your old email remains active until you verify the new one.
Change Username
- Enter your new username in the Username field
- Username requirements:
- 3-20 characters
- Letters, numbers, underscores, hyphens only
- Must be unique
- Click Save Changes
Warning: Changing your username may break shared links.
Update Name
- Edit First Name and Last Name fields
- Click Save Changes
This name appears on your profile and certificates.
Personal Information
Time Zone
- Select your time zone from the dropdown
- Click Save Changes
Affects flight time displays and notifications.
Language
- Choose your preferred language
- Click Save Changes
- Page will reload with selected language
Privacy Settings
Profile Visibility
- Public: Anyone can view your profile
- Private: Only you can see your flights
- Friends Only: Visible to connected pilots
Flight Visibility
Control who can see your flight logbook:
- Public
- Private
- Friends Only
Account Actions
Download Your Data
- Click Download My Data
- Receive email when export is ready (may take 24 hours)
- Download ZIP file containing all your information
Delete Account
- Click Delete Account
- Confirm by entering your password
- Account deleted after 30-day grace period
Warning: This action cannot be undone after 30 days.
Troubleshooting
Email not updating?
- Check spam folder for verification email
- Request new verification link
- Ensure email isn't already in use
Username taken?
- Try variations with numbers or underscores
- Check for typos in desired username
