Account Settings

Manage your personal information and account preferences.

Accessing Account Settings​

  1. Click your profile icon (top-right)
  2. Select Settings
  3. Go to Account tab

Profile Information​

Update Email Address​

  1. Enter your new email in the Email field
  2. Click Save Changes
  3. Verify your new email (check inbox for confirmation link)
  4. Click the link to complete the change

Note: Your old email remains active until you verify the new one.

Change Username​

  1. Enter your new username in the Username field
  2. Username requirements:
    • 3-20 characters
    • Letters, numbers, underscores, hyphens only
    • Must be unique
  3. Click Save Changes

Warning: Changing your username may break shared links.

Update Name​

  1. Edit First Name and Last Name fields
  2. Click Save Changes

This name appears on your profile and certificates.

Personal Information​

Time Zone​

  1. Select your time zone from the dropdown
  2. Click Save Changes

Affects flight time displays and notifications.

Language​

  1. Choose your preferred language
  2. Click Save Changes
  3. Page will reload with selected language

Privacy Settings​

Profile Visibility​

  • Public: Anyone can view your profile
  • Private: Only you can see your flights
  • Friends Only: Visible to connected pilots

Flight Visibility​

Control who can see your flight logbook:

  • Public
  • Private
  • Friends Only

Account Actions​

Download Your Data​

  1. Click Download My Data
  2. Receive email when export is ready (may take 24 hours)
  3. Download ZIP file containing all your information

Delete Account​

  1. Click Delete Account
  2. Review which account data will be removed
  3. Complete the requested confirmation
  4. Confirm Delete Account

Warning: Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no grace period and no way to restore the account or its data. Export your flights before deleting your account if you want to keep a copy.

Troubleshooting​

Email not updating?

  • Check spam folder for verification email
  • Request new verification link
  • Ensure email isn't already in use

Username taken?

  • Try variations with numbers or underscores
  • Check for typos in desired username
