Editing and Updating Flights

Open a flight from Flights, Dashboard, or other lists to view details and update editable fields.

Current Edit Experience​

There is no separate full-form edit screen in this frontend.

Editing is done through:

  • Quick edit cards
  • Inline terminal/gate edit buttons
  • Notes textarea (auto-save on blur)

Fields You Can Edit​

Route and Schedule​

  • Departure and arrival airports
  • Departure and arrival date/time
  • Airline (change or remove it)

Airport Movement Details​

  • Departure terminal, gate, and runway
  • Arrival terminal, gate, and runway

Ticket & Purchase​

  • Ticket number
  • Ticket price + currency
  • Loyalty points used

Seat and Cabin​

  • Seat number
  • Seat type (window/aisle/middle)
  • Cabin class

Trip Metadata​

  • Travel reason
  • Reservation code
  • Linked codes
  • Turbulence level
  • Flight status (completed, cancelled, diverted)
  • Notes

Fields Not Editable Here​

  • Flight number is not editable after the flight is created
  • Aircraft is linked through the aircraft search/matching flow rather than typed as a free field

Saving​

  • Quick-edit dialogs save through Save
  • Notes save when the notes field loses focus
  • Flight stats refresh after updates
